Kkers Claims Services, a member of Lambros Papasavvas & Co Ltd, is a claims adjustment organisation which provides services for major insurance companies, leasing companies and other corporate clients in Cyprus and Greece. Kkers is active in the field of motor insurance and claims handling. The company’s activities include technical, legal and medical expertise as well as the adjustment of claims of other types of insurance, such as general liability and property. Due to its rapid expansion, Kkers Claims Services is seeking to recruit a Claims Officer for its office in Nicosia. The Claims Officer will be responsible for claims handling and will be reporting directly to the CEO of the company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Claims receiving • Processing new insurance claims and notifications • Update software with claim details • Evaluate claims in relation with the insurance contract • Investigate reasons and responsibilities for each claim • Collect accurate information and documents to proceed with the claim • Allocate assessors and investigate the claim • Liaise with the victim and other insurance companies • Monitor the progress of the claim
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• High school graduate • Mechanical or Law Degree will be considered an advantage • At least 5 years of previous work experience in a similar position • Knowledge of the insurance sector • Excellent communication and negotiation skills • Excellent ability to handle confidential information • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software • Fluent in written and oral English • German and Russian will be considered an advantage • Valid driving licence
